Terms of Service
Effective date: May 21, 2026
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of ClipSignal Studio, a web application that helps creators connect TikTok, review creator and video performance, and send approved videos to TikTok drafts or Direct Post. By accessing ClipSignal Studio, connecting a TikTok account, uploading a file, or using any publishing feature, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
ClipSignal Studio provides a creator workspace for reviewing TikTok account information, public video performance, available analytics, posting settings, draft uploads, Direct Post workflows, and related webhook events. The Service is designed for creators, small teams, and operators who manage their own TikTok content. ClipSignal Studio is not TikTok and is not endorsed by TikTok.
2. Eligibility and Account Access
You may use ClipSignal Studio only if you can form a binding agreement and are authorized to connect the TikTok account you use with the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, team, client, or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity and manage the connected accounts and content.
3. TikTok Authorization
ClipSignal Studio uses TikTok Login Kit, Display API, Content Posting API, and Webhooks only after user authorization or app configuration in the TikTok Developer Portal. TikTok may show its own permission screens, account requirements, privacy options, posting limitations, music confirmations, and branded-content confirmations. Your use of TikTok remains subject to TikTok's own terms, policies, API rules, and review requirements.
4. Creator-Controlled Publishing
ClipSignal Studio does not automatically publish content without user action. For draft uploads, you must choose a video file and start the transfer. For Direct Post, ClipSignal Studio first loads creator publishing settings from TikTok, then you must choose a caption, privacy level, interaction settings, disclosure settings, and posting consent before a video is sent. You are responsible for reviewing all posting settings before starting a transfer.
5. User Content
"User Content" means videos, captions, images, metadata, account information, and any other materials you upload, connect, submit, or transfer through the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant ClipSignal Studio a limited license to process, display, transmit, and store User Content only as needed to provide and secure the Service, complete requested TikTok transfers, troubleshoot errors, and comply with law.
You represent that you have all rights, licenses, permissions, and consents needed for the User Content you submit, including rights to any music, likeness, voice, trademarks, products, scripts, images, or third-party materials included in the content.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use ClipSignal Studio to:
- upload or publish unlawful, infringing, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, exploitative, or abusive content;
- violate TikTok policies, advertising rules, branded-content rules, music rules, or platform API rules;
- misrepresent your identity, authority, endorsements, performance, or relationship to another person or brand;
- attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, app review, security controls, or platform restrictions;
- upload malware, harmful code, automated scraping tools, or content designed to disrupt the Service;
- use the Service to spam, manipulate engagement, or publish content at a volume or cadence that violates platform rules.
7. Third-Party Platforms and Services
ClipSignal Studio relies on third-party platforms, including TikTok and cloud infrastructure providers. We do not control TikTok availability, API changes, account permissions, review outcomes, publishing decisions, content moderation, analytics availability, or webhook delivery. Third-party services may change, suspend, or limit features at any time.
8. Analytics and Reports
Analytics, counters, status reports, and performance summaries are provided for operational review. They may be delayed, incomplete, estimated, limited by platform permissions, or unavailable depending on the connected account and APIs. ClipSignal Studio does not guarantee any number of views, followers, likes, comments, shares, revenue, conversions, or approvals.
9. Security
You are responsible for keeping your devices, browser sessions, accounts, and credentials secure. You must promptly revoke access or disconnect accounts if you believe an account has been compromised. ClipSignal Studio may suspend access, rotate credentials, or block requests if we believe there is abuse, compromise, or risk to the Service.
10. Intellectual Property
ClipSignal Studio, including the website, product design, software, logos, workflows, text, and documentation, is owned by ClipSignal Studio or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Service to you. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or create a competing service using non-public aspects of ClipSignal Studio.
11. Feedback
If you provide ideas, requests, comments, or suggestions, you allow ClipSignal Studio to use them without restriction or compensation, provided we do not disclose your confidential information.
12. Service Changes and Availability
We may modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We may perform maintenance or deploy updates that temporarily affect access. We are not responsible for losses caused by downtime, API changes, network issues, browser restrictions, third-party outages, or failed platform requests.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClipSignal Studio disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, accuracy, and platform approval. You use the Service at your own risk.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClipSignal Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost data, lost business, lost content, account restrictions, failed uploads, failed posts, review rejection, or platform enforcement actions.
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ClipSignal Studio from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your User Content, your connected accounts, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of third-party rights, or your violation of platform rules.
16. Termination
You may stop using ClipSignal Studio at any time and may disconnect TikTok through the Service or through your TikTok account settings. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe continued use may violate these Terms, third-party platform rules, law, security requirements, or the rights of others.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of ClipSignal Studio after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
